Mrs. Farmakis

     Welcome to sixth grade!  I am Mrs. Farmakis.  I love being a teacher because I enjoy learning together! I have taught amazing students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade and I substituted in high school.  It is with pride that I have spent the last twenty-seven years teaching at Rolling Ridge.  I taught second grade for eight years, fifth grade for one year, and the last seventeen years in sixth grade.  I cannot wait to get to know you and your family!  

      I live with my husband and oldest daughter.  I am the proud mama of two smart and amazing daughters and gratefully a son-in-law and granddog to be!  My family means everything to me and we love to laugh and spent time with each other.  Traveling, sports, movies, games, beach days, and cooking are some of our favorite things to do when we are together!

     You might enjoy knowing that I am 100% Greek, originally from Des Plaines, Illinois and I am a huge sports fan!  Football is my favorite and the Chicago Bears are my team!  I love the Chicago Cubs and also the New York Yankees.  (I know that's impossible).  I love to travel and have visited 3 continents and I sure hope my family and I get to visit new places together soon!
