    The subsidized childcare and development programs are operated by the Chino Valley Unified School District Office of Child Care and Development under the authority of the California Department of Education.  Our programs are regulated by the California Education Code (CDE), Title 5, and California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22.
     
    Our program mission is to support and promote the District's commitment to student success by providing access to vital, comprehensive, and quality early childhood education programs and services that reflect and address our community's needs.  To fulfill our mission, program staff is dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families by providing quality care and education that enhances the child's growth and development, maintaining a safe and positive environment that promotes critical and independent thinking, creativity, and respectful relationships; and by strengthening parenting skills through relationship building, parent involvement, and education.

  • Subsidized Program Enrollment Information
    Families must meet eligibility and need criteria to enroll in a subsidized childcare program.  To enroll, families must meet the following requirements:
    • Child must be enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade (Liberty and Newman)
    • Child must be enrolled in and attending a Chino Valley Unified School District elementary school program
    • Child must be 3-4 years of age (Children's Center)
    • Provide proof of need and proof of income
    • Provide proof of residency
    • Provide photo identification
    • Provide copies of birth certificates for every child in the home, under the age of 18
    • Provide legal notice of Separation or Divorce and Court Order stipulating child support, if applicable
    • Provide current immunization records and physical exam (Children's Center)
