Problem Behaviors Definitions

(Glenmeade Teachers defined the following behaviors based upon the discipline ladder)

• Defiance: refusing to cooperate, answer, or participate in class or group discussion
• Improper Use of Property: breaking, wasting, or destroying property
• Irresponsible Language: curse words, unkind words, or phrases
• Not Collaborating with Others: not working together: not actively listening to others
• Not Following Instructions: doing something other than the teacher’s task that was given
• Off-Task Behavior: not doing the expectations that are required to do to be successful
