Ms. Maxwell
Hello Bulldogs! I’m Ms. Maxwell, your 10CP teacher for the 2024/25 school year. Here’s a little background on me. I have been teaching at Ayala for 19 years and absolutely love it. I haven’t always been a teacher as my career started in the corporate world. I used to work for large food and medical supply companies such as: Hershey Chocolate, General Mills, Becton Dickinson, Johnson & Johnson, and more. I have extensive business experience which ties in nicely with my educational and teaching background. My students get the best of both worlds.
I became a teacher because I enjoy working with our youth and helping them through one of the most important parts of life. Students will choose different avenues after high school, with some attending college, the military, taking a gap year, entrepreneurship, or heading into the working world. Whatever the case, I work closely to help all students reach their full potential.
As far as my personal life and hobbies are concerned, I have two grown sons and a beautiful granddaughter who I love and adore. I have a wild and crazy new pup that I rescued two years ago. Her name is Marley. I have been an athlete my entire life and love the outdoors. Being active and staying fit is important to me (although I’ve been rusty lately LOL). Going to the gym and hitting the weights is one of my favorite things. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming/playing in the ocean, riding bikes at the beach and traveling. Adventure is always calling my name :)
I look forward to learning more about each one of you and to another successful school year. Together we can make the school year engaging, fun and successful. By working hard and keeping a positive mindset, we can make it through anything.
