• Good Evening Parents, Professors, and Scholars, This is Dr. Large, the Chancellor at Rhodes, thanking you for another amazing (if unusual) year at Rhodes!

Parents ask what their child should do this summer to make up for any learning loss this past year. My answer - get outside, play with friends, read for fun, ride a bike or dig in the dirt. These “normal” activities will give students a strong base to return to school in the fall ready to learn.

If you haven’t already done so, please be sure to drop of textbooks and Chromebooks tomorrow to avoid getting a fine letter. The Student Union will be open to collect materials from 1-4pm.

All schools in Chino Valley Unified School District will be fully reopened for in-person learning in the fall. Distance Learning will no longer be offered at any elementary school in the district. If you will NOT be returning to Rhodes in the fall, please contact our office so that we can better plan classes for next year, and can organize your child’s files for their next school or program.

At Rhodes we are committed to children, committed to community and committed to excellence. Have a wonderful evening, a fantastic weekend, and an amazing summer break! We look forward to seeing you in the fall!
