I want to extend a very big THANK YOU to all of you! I felt so loved, appreciated, and valued during "Teacher Appreciation Week". The flowers, treats, classroom supplies, thank you cards made by the students, and gift cards were AMAZING! Thank you so much!
8 days left!! 🎉 I can't believe Kindergarten is almost over. I am so very proud of ALL of our Kindergarten Kiddos!
I have decided not to send homework home for the remainder of the school year. Please have your children continue practicing the set of sight words that have sentences on the back, writing sentences and drawing a picture to go along with them, and also do some reading with leveled readers. Leveled readers can be purchased through Scholastic (link below), Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. Levels 1-4 are great for this age.
We will celebrate our Kindergarten year with a party and prepare for First grade by visiting first grade classrooms, having lunch in the cafeteria, and playing in the big playground. The dates are listed below.
The "Kindergarten Olympics" involve indoor/outdoor activities and ALL of our Kindergarten students. We will need lots of parent help on Wednesday, May 21st, from 7:50-11:10am. Look for the "Olympic Day" letter tomorrow in your child's backpack.
Open House was a BLAST! I hope that you all enjoyed it as much as I did. We had 100% attendance and that meant the world to me!
📢 Look what's happening this week!
