Dear Families, On October 31, 2024, we will have a fun parade! Students will walk around in a large oval on the upper grade playground. For information about this activity, please click the link below. Remember: No costumes that will disrupt learning in the classroom, no weapons of any kind (not even pretend items), nothing resembling blood, broken bones, super scary characters, etc. your child may dress up as a character from a book. If you can, your child may bring that book, or a picture of that book, where his/her character will be depicted.
Also, we are collecting bags of candy for a Halloween activity after school. Please visit the school website for information on our activities.
Please remember: When trick-or-treating, go with a responsible adults, make sure to take bright flashlights (never shine the flashlights directly in the eyes of a vehicle driver, as that would be very dangerous), watch out for vehicles passing by on the streets, use only crosswalks, only visit houses with decorations or people outside that are giving out treats, check the candies and other things with an adult for safety, go in groups if you can. Please be safe! Also, do NOT bring candy to school for snack time. Candy is not allowed at school.
HAVE FUN!
