    Box Tops Box Tops for Education – Earn money for our school by collecting Box Tops for Education.  Bring them to the office now through February 12.

     

    Theatre Arts Club Theatre Arts Club is cancelled today.

     

    Talent Show There will NOT be practice today.  We will have practice tomorrow and Thursday.  See you there!  Any questions may be directed to Mrs. Orr or Mrs. Blea.

     

    Minimum Day Friday, February 12, is a minimum Day with dismissal at 12:21.

     

    8th Graders Please remember to return your 8th grade promotion confirmation slip to the office.  You will lose 5 points for each day late.

     

    Presidents’ Day There is no school on Monday, February 15, due to Presidents’ Day.

     

    You Got Served Were you inspired by our speaker Josh Drean to make a difference at your school and in your community?  Check out his You Got Served series on YouTube to get ideas on how you can serve others!  Video yourself serving someone, and with your parent’s permission upload to YouTube or Instagram with #TownsendServedYou by February 19, and you just might see yourself in the upcoming rally!

     

    ASB Elections Hey, 7th graders!  We want YOU to be in leadership next year!  You may pick up an application in the office.  Remember to fill them out and turn them in to the office by February 26.  You need to ask each of your teachers nicely to fill out one of the Evaluation Forms – be sure that your name is on it!  If you are running for ASB office, please email your speech to the address in the application by February 26.  Remember that there is no campaigning of any kind allowed at Townsend or on social media.  That means you may not share with anyone which office you are running for, or you will be disqualified from the elections!  Late applications and speeches will not be accepted after February 26.  You will be notified by March 10 of your eligibility to run for ASB office, and leadership class lists will be posted after elections on March 24.

     

    Rally Our Renaissance Commissioner and Committee have chosen the theme for the 2nd trimester rally….it is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Knowledge!  It’s going to be a magical event, and we are looking for students who have skills!  If you know simple magic tricks, please see Mr. Murillo or Mrs. Noblett as soon as possible.  Also, be on the lookout for camera crews ready to video you imitating

    your favorite characters and performing your magical spells!  We want to see YOU in the rally…How will YOU be recognized?

     

    Yearbook Lists of students who have preordered yearbooks have been posted around campus.  Please verify that you have ordered this amazing book of memories. If you think there is an error, please bring a copy of your receipt to Room 504 as soon as possible. Yearbooks may still be purchased in the office for $45 for a limited time only.
