The Community Services Department is inviting enthusiastic teens in grades 9-11 to join the Summer Volunteen Program! This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community, gain valuable skills, and make new friends. Volunteens will assist with a variety of exciting programs, including mobile recreation, special events, summer day camp, aquatics, and youth sports.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the program, applicants must:Be in grades 9-11 as of fall 2025
Reside in Chino Hills or attend a Chino Hills school
Be available to volunteer a minimum of 10 to 25 hours per week starting Monday, June 2
Be available to participate in at least 6 of the 9 weeks of the program
Note: Only the first 64 applications will be reviewed, and up to 47 teens will be accepted into the program.Key Dates
Applications Available: Monday, March 31, 2025
Application Deadline: Monday, April 28, 2025 (or until 64 applications are received)
Interviews:
Tuesday, May 6, 2025 (after school)
Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (after school)
Mandatory Orientation and CPR/First Aid Training: Friday, May 30, 2025
Program Duration: Monday, June 2, 2025 - Friday, August 1, 2025

Volunteen ApplicationInterviews
