Tier 3 Student Level systems support all students who are not responding to Tier 1 and Tier 2 supports and would benefit from intensive strategies matched to individual student needs.

Tier 3 Supports:

• Intensive, individualized supports intended to improve behavioral, emotional, and academic outcomes
• Designed to address problematic behaviors that often create barriers to learning and exclude students from social settings
• Tier 3 is appropriate for students who engage in:
  • Highly disruptive behavior
  • Chronic problem behavior
  • Mental health concerns
  • Risky behaviors
